Seit 2024 leben und segeln wir mit unserer 52ft (c.a. 16m) Stahlyacht Amber durch die Welt. Wenn man mich fragt, was bisher das Schönste war, könnte ich es nicht sagen. Jeder Tag ist geprägt von so vielen neuen und wunderbaren Eindrücken, dass man es oft gar nicht alles auf einmal verarbeiten kann. Wir haben hier unsere ganz eigene Lebensphilosophie gefunden und lieben es.

Und genau aus dieser Liebe zum Ozean und zur Natur ist die Idee entstanden, andere daran teilhaben zu lassen. Natürlich kann man über unseren Blog virtuell mit uns reisen, aber wie wäre es, sich echte Seeluft um die Nase wehen zu lassen?

Daher bieten wir exklusiv für max. 2 Personen eine grosszügige Kabine auf unserem schwimmenden Zuhause, mit eigenem Bad und Vollverpflegung.

Unser Schiff verfügt insgesamt über 2 Kabinen (Eigner-und Gästekabine), 2 Bäder mit Waschbecken, Toilette und Duschgelegenheit, sowie einen grosszügigen Salon mit Essecke, Navigationsecke, Pantry mit Petroleumofen (wir kochen nicht mit Gas), einer Werkstatt und einem festen Steuerhaus mit Tür (das Steuern draussen in der Kälte und im Regen gehört somit der Vergangenheit an). Ebenso verfügen wir über 2 große Dieseltanks, einen 750l Frischwassertank und 60l Schwarzwassertank. Sollte das Wasser trotzdem mal knapp werden, kommt unser Wassermacher zum Einsatz. Ausserdem ist das Boot sehr großzügig mit Luken ausgestattet (somit auch unten entsprechend Tageslicht) und einer Dieselheizung. Getakelt als Ketch verfügen wir über 2 Masten für Groß-und Besan Segel, sowie eine Genua. Für Leichtwind ist u.a. auch noch ein Gennaker an Bord. Auch auf Sicherheit wurde viel Wert gelegt. So sind alle unsere Türen als Schotten wasserdicht abzuschließen. Das Boot an sich wurde sehr wertig und überaus stabil gebaut, so dass man sich auch bei ruppigem Wetter sehr sicher und gut aufgehoben fühlt.

Bevor ich nun auf die zu erwartenden Kosten eingehe, möchte ich anmerken, dass wir die Kabine natürlich nicht verschenken können. Der Südpazifik als Segelrevier hat nun einmal seinen Preis, der es unserer Ansicht nach aber wert ist.

15.07.-22.07.26 – c.a. 350nM Robinson Crusoe Insel – Abfahrt von Valparaiso, one Way.

Osterinseln, Juli / August c.a. 1500nM

Pitcairn Inseln, August c.a. 1200nM auf den Spuren der Bounty,

Gambier Inseln, August / September c.a. 400nM

Anschließend Mitsegeln zu weiteren Destinationen in französisch Polynesien möglich.

€1400,00 pro Koje/Woche + 50€/Tag für die Bordkasse

Since 2024, we’ve been living and sailing around the world on our 52-foot steel yacht, the Amber. If you asked me what the best part has been so far, I wouldn’t be able to say. Every day is filled with so many new and wonderful experiences that it’s often impossible to take it all in at once. We’ve found our very own philosophy of life here, and we love it.

And it was precisely this love for the ocean and nature that sparked the idea to share it with others. Of course, you can travel with us virtually through our blog, but how about letting the real sea breeze blow around your nose? Or how about sailing lessons, knot-tying, navigation, and route planning? We’d love to share our experience with you.

That’s why we’re offering—exclusively for up to 2 people—a spacious cabin on our floating home, complete with a private bathroom and full board.

Our boat has a total of 2 cabins (owner’s and guest cabin), 2 bathrooms with sinks, toilets, and showers, as well as a spacious salon with a dining area, navigation corner, galley with a kerosene stove (we don’t cook with gas), a workshop, and a fixed wheelhouse with a door (so steering outside in the cold and rain is a thing of the past). We also have 2 large diesel tanks, a 750-liter fresh water tank, and a 60-liter black water tank. Should we ever run low on water, our watermaker comes into play. In addition, the boat is generously equipped with hatches (providing plenty of natural light below deck) and a diesel heater. Rigged as a ketch, we have two masts for the mainsail and mizzen sail, as well as a genoa. For light winds, we also have a gennaker on board, among other sails. Great emphasis was also placed on safety. All of our doors can be locked watertight as bulkheads. The boat itself was built to a very high standard and is extremely sturdy, so you feel very safe and well taken care of even in rough weather.

Before I go into the expected costs, I’d like to note that we obviously can’t give away the cabin for free. Sailing in the South Pacific comes at a price, but in our opinion, it’s worth it.

Easter Islands, July / August c.a. 1500nM

Pitcairn Islands, in the footsteps of the Bounty, August c.a. 1200nM

Gambier Islands, Gambier Inseln, August / September c.a. 400nM

Cruising to additional destinations in French Polynesia possible afterward.

€1,400.00 per berth/week + €50/day for the board fund.

€1,600.00 for single occupancy of a double cabin + €50/day for the board fund.
